Stop! Look at the world around you. Look up. Look down. Look all around. Isn’t it amazing? How can an ant carry a load several times as large as itself? How does a robin find that worm in the ground? Oh, how were the sun, moon, and stars hung up in space? And, my goodness, how do your eyes work so that you can see this marvelous world around you? In Fun With Genesis One, you and your child will learn about marvels like these.
You’ll discover that the world didn’t begin with a big explosion as many scientists tell us. We believe the Bible is God’s word and it is completely true. When we read it we find a totally different account about how our world was specially created. Using a gigantic magnetic puzzle, you and your child will learn what occurred on each of the seven days of creation. You’ll also realize that each day is 24 hours long and that the week, as a measurement of time, was God’s idea.
After reviewing the days of creation, the seven special surprises in our mystery bags will be revealed. Each one contains an item that corresponds to a day in creation week. No, sorry, we can’t tell what’s in the bags. That’s a secret. Your family will need to come to the workshop to find out, but be assured, your child will find the mystery bags verrrrry interesting.
At the end of the workshop, your child will make a “creation wheel” so they can remember what God made on each day of creation week. AND, if they can recite what God created on each of the seven days, they will win a prize. Join us for Fun With Genesis One and learn about the marvels of God’s creation.
