This year marks 10 years of our popular Día Latino event! Each year we host an outreach to the Spanish-speaking community with an event at both the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. This year’s event is October 15 at the Ark Encounter and October 16 at the Creation Museum, and it’s packed full of special activities, including a pre-conference, in honor of 10 years of outreach!
During Día Latino, Spanish speakers and interpreters will be available to give a brief overview of some of the exhibits for the walk through history at the Creation Museum (October 16) and on the three decks of teaching exhibits at the Ark Encounter (October 15). Additionally, Joe Owen, the director of AiG–Latin America, Pastor Otto Sánchez, and Ken Ham (interpreted in Spanish) will give presentations during the event. Spanish speakers will hear the truth from God’s Word and the gospel in their first language, which is vital to reaching people in a meaningful way.
This year, we are kicking this event off with a special pre-conference on October 14, 2022, from 6–8 p.m. at the Creation Museum. Guests will discover biblical answers to an issue sweeping through both America and Latin America right now: abortion. It’s going to be a wonderful celebration of the sanctity of every human life that will equip and encourage you. Don’t miss this free conference! It’s open for anyone to attend and will be presented in Spanish.
Join us at the Ark Encounter on October 15, 2022, where guests will tour the full-size Noah’s Ark (with three decks of stunning teaching exhibits), meet animals in Ararat Ridge Zoo, and have their children play on our state-of-the-art playground. And we’re excited that our guests will also enjoy a special worship concert featuring talented musicians from IBO.
On Sunday, October 16, the Creation Museum will host its annual Día Latino, which begins with a Spanish worship service in our newly renovated state-of-the-art Legacy Hall auditorium. Guests then tour the Creation Museum’s “walk through” biblical history, plus our fantastic Dinosaur Den, insectarium, our newly expanded Fearfully and Wonderfully Made pro-life exhibit, Borderland: Israel at the Time of Jesus exhibit, high-tech 4D Special Effects Theater, our Stargazer Planetarium (additional ticket required), and more.
Outside, you can have a high-flying adventure on the Screaming Raptor Zip Lines (additional ticket purchase required), meet the animals in Eden Animal Experience, bring your children to our playground, and stroll through the gorgeous botanical gardens featuring waterfalls, a suspension bridge, and more. Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the grounds to assist you all day.Start making your plans to join us today, and learn more about this year’s Día Latino conference at ArkEncounter.com/latino.
