Construction volunteers from South Carolina, Ohio, and Michigan teamed up to build a 25-foot straight bridge and a 67-foot arch bridge along the museum's nature trail last month.
Wayne and Jane, charter members of the Creation Museum and who attend Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC arrived with their team on June 11. (This church has hosted AiG conferences over the years.) They brought experienced workers and tools, and several family members joined them to support the team with meals, laundry work (there were some very hot days out at the lake in June!), and encouragement.
Working in cooperation with the AiG staff, the “Men for Missions” team assembled the two bridges and most of a third floating bridge in less than two weeks! The ladies and teens also volunteered to work in the AiG offices and warehouse.
Dr. Penix, a team member, recalled: "God helped us and protected us as we worked. Our team enjoyed wonderful fellowship with each other and the Creation Museum staff. We are all excited to see how God is bringing this ministry into existence."
Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
