Snakes Alive! (with Rick Teepen)

Join herpetoculturist Rick Teepen for the ever-popular presentation, Snakes Alive!, as he shares reptiles from God’s perspective. Have you ever seen a snake in your own backyard? Did you run away in fear or lean in for a closer look? No matter how you feel about snakes, this workshop will help you appreciate these often-feared animals of God’s creation.

Snakes Alive! is an interactive presentation where you’ll get to see and touch many interesting reptiles. These amazing creatures display traits that could only be formed by an intelligent, creative designer—God. Using a variety of reptiles including snakes, lizards, and turtles, Rick explains why specific animals have certain characteristics and how they fit into God's plan for the world.

Bring a camera to record some close encounters! You’ll even have an opportunity to pose with a live snake.

This event is free with paid museum admission or museum membership. Seating is first come, first served.
