by Creation Museum on March 18, 2008

On Thursday, May 15 - Peace Officers Memorial Day - flags across the United States are to be flown at half-staff in remembrance of the nearly 18,000 law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in our nation's history as of 2007.

As part of National Police Week and in honor of this day, the Creation Museum will offer all police officers and their families free admission to the museum.

It is important to remember the continued service and sacrifice of the 800,000 law enforcement officers who protect our communities and safeguard our democracy daily. Please pass the word to all those you know and join us in observing this day at the museum.
