What does the Bible say? We tend to ask that question when it comes to major life issues, but we don’t as often ask when it comes to minor details. If the Bible is the very words of God, then the details are just as inspired, inerrant, and authoritative as the big ideas. Our understanding of biblical accounts should be informed by what scripture says, not creative renditions colored by personal assumption and artistic license.
