So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Did you know that the male and female skeletal structures are uniquely different, or that different people groups have distinct skeletal characteristics? Though both male and female are made in the image of God, their bone structure reflects an intentional design and purpose. Examining human bone structure provides clues that allow forensic anthropologists to distinguish between gender, age, height, and people group. Through the lens of the Bible, you will learn how to identify these skeletal characteristics while solving a forensic anthropological case study.

In addition to her work as a forensic science educator, speaker, and author, Dr. Jennifer Hall Rivera now serves as the Director of Educational Programs for Answers in Genesis, presenting in the Discover series and developing educational programs. Her experience in the field of forensic science includes employment in a crime scene unit, over a decade of teaching, journal publications, and numerous speaking events.
