Follow the Star and Reflect on the True Meaning of Christmas

by Creation Museum on December 19, 2024

We are less than a week away from Christmas, and ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum is in full swing! If you haven’t visited during this special time of the year, you still have time! This event runs Tuesdays through Saturdays (on select days) until January 4, 2025.

Bring your family out to help us celebrate this special season. Follow the star to our live nativity, which returns this year in its new location at our new Wonders of Creation Stage in the Creation Zoo.

While you are here for this special time of the year, step back in time as you view a realistic recreation of the events surrounding the night of our Savior’s birth. Reflect on the true meaning of Christmas as you stand before Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus at the live nativity.

Christmas Indoor Dramas

In addition to the live nativity, your family can learn more about the events surrounding the birth of Christ with our indoor dramas performed in Legacy Hall.

Enjoy a fireside chat with one of the magi as he rests from a long journey of searching for truth, meaning, and purpose for this life, and follow a young archaeologist as he digs deeper into the Scriptures and uncovers more about what really happened the night Jesus was born.

Nativity Live Drama

You can also hear from Anna and Elisabeth. After decades of serving God in the temple and longing to see the Messiah, Anna finally encountered the Christ child and held him in her trembling arms, while Elisabeth had lost all hope after decades of longing for a child. But God is the God of miracles, and he answered her prayers in the most miraculous way, even in her old age.
