ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum kicks off tonight! This year’s event will run Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5–8:30 p.m. through December 30, 2023. So, while you have family in town for the holidays, load up the car and head our way to celebrate this special time of the year together!
In addition to the beautiful light displays guests have come to love, we also have a few new features for this year’s event. We’ve added indoor dramas* centered around the birth of Christ. The Nativity, showing each evening, follows a young archaeologist as he digs deeper into the Scriptures to learn about the birth of Jesus and the real meaning of Christmas. You can also experience dramatized eyewitness accounts on select nights.
We are also offering a special family-friendly program Thursday through Saturday nights—Christmas Truths for Families. Most of us are familiar with the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ birth. But the truth of Christmas began long before the Son of God took on flesh—about 4,000 years before. Come and learn the entire narrative as we trace the promise of Christmas through Scripture and make an ornament to take home.
We add new designs and more color throughout the garden trails each year, so your experience is never the same! Get a taste of what you will experience during ChristmasTown in these pictures.
Celebrate this special time of the year with a trip to ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter as well! Take in the beauty of the life-size Noah’s Ark, Ararat Ridge Zoo, Rainbow Gardens, and the grounds illuminated in a stunning sea of rainbow-colored lights, and enjoy dinner inside Emzara’s Buffet.
We look forward to celebrating this season with you at ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum and ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter!
