Explore Days are returning to the Creation Museum next month (human anatomy on August 9, 2019) for your science-loving child. If your students are interested in learning more about diverse fields of science from a biblical worldview, this is the program for them! Here, they will enjoy a full day of workshops that focus on exploratory science learning from a biblical worldview for students in grades 4–12.
Each Explore Day is designed to enhance your child’s understanding through hands-on application, visual presentations, and critical thinking. Our 2019-2020 topics include:
New to the Explore Days this year is Explore Junior! Explore Junior is a day of discovery and adventure for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Students will investigate the truth about fossils, Noah’s flood, and apemen with God’s Word as our starting point through interactive and engaging presentations, and they’ll make a keepsake craft pertaining to each topic. Let the fun begin!
If you are you looking for a full year of science labs with a biblical worldview for your high school student and want the benefits of top-level instructors and resources that the Creation Museum has to offer, sign your high schoolers up for our high school labs. The science lab program is designed to provide high school students with topic-specific scientific principles through participation in 12 sessions of 24 hands-on labs. Our biology and chemistry labs are still open for registration.
You can also equip your children for the upcoming school year with our Discover Programs, which are included with your admission when you visit the Creation Museum. These educational programs cover a variety of topics from forensics and snakes to astronomy and the design of the human body!
If your family has begun to think about an upcoming high school graduation, the 2019 Creation College Expo is here to help! This year’s event will be taking place November 1–2 at our sister attraction, the Ark Encounter.
The Creation College Expo gives you and your students the opportunity to visit one-on-one with representatives from Christian institutions across the country. Each school represented at the College Expo takes a bold stand on biblical authority, including a belief in biblical creation and a young earth.
The expo is a free event. All registered students will receive complimentary tickets to the life-size Noah’s Ark, the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship, and a free College Expo T-shirt. Students and their families will also receive 20% off admission to the Creation Museum, and parents or chaperones accompanying their student will get a 20% Ark Encounter admission discount.
Plan your trip to the Creation Museum today to help your children prepare for the new school year! When you plan your trip, be sure to check the events calendar, so you don’t miss out on these unique learning opportunities.
