Wallaby Walkabout FAQs

When Is the Wallaby Walkabout Open?
Wallaby Walkabout times vary by season. You can scroll down to view the upcoming times below, check your daily schedule upon arrival at the Creation Museum, or ask a zoo staff member. Be aware that the walkabout will close during inclement weather.

Can I Touch the Animals?
For guest and animal safety, you must stay on the path as you walk through the walkabout. If the animals choose to approach you on the path, you may touch them. However, if they do not approach the path, we respect their choice not to be touched. Be aware that touching is always at the discretion of our zoo staff.

Can I Still See the Animals If the Walkabout Is Closed?
The habitat is visible from the guest path even when the walkabout is closed but be aware that the animals may choose to be in their barns.
