You’ve imagined what it would be like to investigate and solve a crime. Now is your chance to bring that dream to reality. In this hands-on program, designed specifically for adults, you will learn how forensic scientists use unique traits that God created in every individual to determine identity. Explore how the two types of science (historical and observational) converge in the disciplines of forensic science as you collect, examine, and analyze evidence to reconstruct an event that happened in the past. You will even be asked to apply your newly acquired skills in an immersive criminal investigation.

Topics include:

  • Fingerprint identification, comparison, and processing
  • Trace analysis
  • Impressions
  • DNA fingerprinting
  • Document examination
  • Eyewitness testimony

The two-day event will conclude with an in-depth case study.

Open to adults ages 18 and up.
