Sprig & Stone Now Open!

by Creation Museum on May 21, 2026

As we head into another exciting summer season at the Creation Museum, guests have even more to look forward to! From enjoying a delicious meal in our brand-new Sprig & Stone restaurant to walking among beautiful butterflies in the reopening of our Butterfly House, there are so many new and returning experiences waiting to be discovered.

We’re thrilled Sprig & Stone is finally open! Our design and site development teams have done a phenomenal job planning and building this beautiful new space.

This new dining area will be a huge help in serving the needs of our guests as the busy summer season approaches. Sprig & Stone is four times bigger than our previous restaurant, Noah’s Café, so it will really enhance the guest experience (and we’re making exciting plans for the old Noah’s Café space too).

Thank you to our generous supporters who gave to make this much-needed new restaurant a reality!

Butterfly House Now Open for the Season Too!

Our Butterfly House, featuring native North American butterflies and moths, is open once again for our busy summer season. This is our second year with the Butterfly House, and if last year is any indication, it will be popular again!

Guests loved touring the flower-filled Butterfly House and being surrounded by a variety of North American species such as the iconic monarch, colorful swallowtails, and buckeyes.

Since butterflies are seasonal, the Butterfly House is only open from May through September, so come and visit while you can! Due to the cost of replacing the butterflies and moths (they have a short lifespan, so we receive weekly shipments), there is a small fee to enter the house ($4 per person; children 5 and under are free).

The Butterfly House is part of our Creation Zoo complex. The Creation Zoo features a barnyard area where guests can get up close with a variety of fun animals, as well as our popular Wallaby Walkabout, which allows you to walk with the wallabies and our Aldabra tortoises (who love hanging out on the path and waiting for guests to scratch their shells). We also display a variety of exotic species such as a king vulture, coatis, and a giant anteater.

Our zoo also features the Wonders of Creation stage, where our zookeepers introduce guests to a variety of ambassador animals, sharing fun facts and teaching a biblical worldview on animal kinds, life in a fallen world, and more. It’s another way we reach guests—especially kids who just love the zoo and animal programs—with the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.
