The Creation Zoo Is Open!

by Creation Museum on September 19, 2024

After nine months of closure, the day has finally arrived: the Creation Museum’s zoo, renamed the Creation Zoo, has reopened to guests!

Alpacas and Donkeys in the Creation Zoo

Come see fun farmyard animals like alpacas, donkeys, and goats, along with unique South American life like Auggie the king vulture and Quinn the giant anteater.

Although the wallaby walkabout is still under construction, you can still view our wallaby joeys and Aldabra tortoises in their temporary habitats. Guests may also interact with goats in our farmyard from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. daily (weather dependent).

The Wonders of Creation Stage, presented by Cosequin Joint Health Supplement, is still being completed, so animal shows will still be held in Legacy Hall for now. Keeper chats with ambassador animals will continue in Pavilion 3 through mid-October.

The rest of the zoo should be opening later this year, and more animals will continue to be added, so stay tuned for updates!

We want to give special thanks to Nutramax Laboratories for their generous donations that contributed to the zoo renovation.
