Creation Museum Opportunities for Homeschool Families

on August 18, 2022

Students and parents across the country are heading back to school. Are you ready for your children to return to the home classroom? If you’re a homeschool parent still looking to put the last few finishing touches on your 2022–2023 school year (or a parent who wants to supplement your child’s education with biblical teaching), consider the following resources from the Creation Museum and our parent ministry, Answers in Genesis.

Explore Days and Explore Jr.

Explore science through the lens of God’s Word with full-day interactive programs on a variety of specialty subjects, including astronomy, botany, drones, forensics, zoology, and more. Designed for students aged 11–18, Explore Days are a wonderful way of teaching your children how to apply a biblical worldview to the sciences. And don’t miss our Explore Jr. programs for students aged 5–10!

Our Explore Days and Explore Jr. programs are offered at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Check our Explore Days page to see what each location is offering this fall and next spring.

Answers Bible Curriculum for Homeschool

This K–5th grade Bible curriculum teaches through the Bible chronologically, bringing Scripture to life and equipping children with apologetics, emphasizing biblical authority, and teaching them to see the gospel from page one of the Scriptures. It’s a phenomenal resource, and it’s adaptable to use with older children too!

See a wide variety of homeschool resources, some produced by AiG, others carefully vetted by our staff from publishers we work with and trust. Find science, math, Scripture memory, evangelism, and more at And our curriculum is on sale for the whole month of August, so be sure to take advantage of that for your last-minute homeschool needs.

2022 Creation College Expo

If you have students in 7–12th grade, start your college search at the Ark Encounter! The nation’s leading Christian colleges and universities are gathering again this fall (November 3–5, 2022) for the annual Creation College Expo. This exciting event is free and includes free Ark Encounter admission for all registered students!

Students can visit one-on-one with representatives from Christian institutions across America who hold to biblical authority and young-earth creation. During past events, we’ve welcomed families, youth groups, homeschool co-ops, and Christian school groups who have enjoyed this opportunity.

A Full Year of Learning Opportunities

The Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter offer many different types of programs year-round that you can enhance your school year. Consider purchasing our Ultimate Bouncer Pass, which gives families one year’s worth of “bouncing” between the two attractions! It’s the best way to explore the museum and life-size Noah’s Ark all year (free parking for the year is also included with the Ultimate Bouncer Pass).

Save the Date: 2023 Family Homeschool Experience

Join us May 8–12, 2023, for faith-building experiences for the whole family as we equip generations for the King. We’ve designed our Answers Homeschool Experience to help you to better disciple and educate your children, encourage you in your homeschooling journey, equip your children with answers to the questions of our day, and build lasting family memories while you have fun together. In other words, we want to equip generations to stand for the King of all kings!

We hope you take advantage of the many different educational opportunities we offer for your students’ 2022–2023 academic year!
