Are you looking for a Christian educational experience for your child or teen this summer? Look no further than our Explore Summer Camps at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter this year! These day camps feature hands-on science and biblical worldview teaching, and your child is sure to love them. Learn more about these opportunities below.
Our Explore Summer Camps (July 11–15, 2022, at the Creation Museum and July 18–22, 2022, at the Ark Encounter) feature hands-on science workshops in five disciplines: environmental science, physical science, forensic science, zoology, and fossils. They’ll also enjoy a zipline adventure (weather permitting), a tour of the Creation Museum (or the life-size Noah’s Ark during camp July 18–22), and more.
As your children learn from expert instructors, they will not only discover more about God’s creation and how it works but will also look to God’s Word for the proper framework for understanding and interpreting science. It’s hands-on science with a biblical worldview—there aren’t too many other places you can find that!
Our Explore Forensics Science Camp will take place at the Creation Museum from June 27–July 1, 2022. Campers will dive into the remarkable world of forensics as they get hands-on experience with fingerprint identification, trace (hair and fibers) analysis, impressions (shoe and dental), DNA, crime scene recording, and document examination.
Students will use these techniques to solve a case study on the final day of camp. This session is taught by Dr. Jennifer Rivera (a trained forensic scientist), and kids will catch a glimpse of how intricately God designed each of us.
Space for all these camps is limited, so please register early. Campers ages 11 –18 are welcome to participate in these camps.
