Don’t Miss Unique Astronomy Experiences with Dr. Danny Faulkner at the Creation Museum

by Creation Museum on July 29, 2021

Experience the glory of God displayed in the nighttime sky from a unique, biblical worldview at the astronomy programs here at the Creation Museum. Astronomy Live and Stargazer’s Nights are taught by our resident astronomer, Dr. Danny Faulkner, a former astronomy professor and entertaining speaker. Guests love his programs because he has a great sense of humor!

Astronomy Live

An Astronomy Live program allows you to experience the constellations inside our state-of-the-art planetarium (where clouds and weather are never an issue!). You’ll enjoy an in-depth presentation of the night sky as it appears the evening of the event, so come back during different seasons to track how the sky changes.

Stargazer’s Nights

During our Stargazer’s Nights, you’ll enjoy an evening of astronomy, fellowship, and worship as you journey through the universe. You’ll have exclusive access to a planetarium show not typically presented at the museum and then go to our observatory to use our telescopes.

Johnson Observatory Telescopes

Depending on the time of the year, you’ll be treated to a variety of heavenly views. There will be binary stars, nebulae, globular clusters, galaxies, and planets. You may even see an iridium flare as a satellite passes by or view the space station as it races overhead. It’s amazing to see the actual colors of stars: one crowd favorite is a binary pair of stars, one yellow and one blue.
