Children of all ages are fascinated by God’s creation. Whether it’s the ants crawling along the sidewalk, birds snacking at the feeder in the backyard, fossils in the local creek bed, or the explosive reaction of baking soda to vinegar, God’s creation is full of delight. Would you like to nurture that curiosity and wonder through the lens of a biblical worldview? If so, then consider our popular Explore Camps at the Creation Museum.
Our Explore Camps feature expert instruction on topics such as astronomy, earth science, zoology, forensics, automation, and more. Each camp offers hands-on science combined with a biblical worldview. Campers discover more about God’s creation through variety of workshops, experiments, scavenger hunts, behind-the-scenes experiences, and much more.
Learn more about the camps we’re offering this summer at the Creation Museum below. (Please note that all of the Explore programs are day camps with no overnights).
We have two Explore 5-Day Science Camps taking place this summer, June 14–18 and July 12–16. They are for students ages 11 and up. This camp features hands-on science workshops (covering earth science, physical science, forensic science, zoology, and astronomy) taught by expert instructors. Students will discover more about God’s creation and how it works along with looking to God’s Word for the proper framework for understanding and interpreting science.
Our Explore 5-Day Science Camps also feature a zipline or ropes course adventure, a planetarium show, a guided tour of the Creation Museum, and more.
Our Explore Forensics 3-Day Summer Camp will take place June 30–July 2, 2021, for students 11 years old and older. Dive into the remarkable world of forensics with hands-on experience for fingerprinting, fingerprint identification, handwriting analysis, computer forensics, crime scene recording, and so much more. Campers will use these techniques to solve a case study on the final day of camp!
The third camp we will host at the Creation Museum this summer is led by the group Teach Me Automation. The Teach Me Automation 3-Day STEM Camp (July 21–23) aims to teach campers various technology principles and how to solve problems and conquer challenges creatively on a team, all through the lens of a biblical worldview.
Space for all our camps is limited, so please register early. Visit the following event pages to learn more and to register your child:
