Calling All Volunteers for Christmas Town

by Creation Museum on October 12, 2015

Since the Creation Museum’s opening, we have tried to provide a great venue for our guests to bring their family to during the Christmas season where it is not all about the glitter and lights. Our main focus is the birth of Christ! But we also knew that families enjoy a festive atmosphere, so besides having a Live Nativity, we started enhancing their visit by adding a variety of things for our guests’ pleasure. And the best part about it is that we offer Christmas Town for free! But since it has become such a huge undertaking, we have relied more and more on volunteers to help us pull it off. From helping park the cars each night, to helping our guests in finding their way through the gardens, to working alongside staff in the museum, it is a big help to have so many friendly volunteers assist us each year! Christmas Town season is a very busy time of year for us at the Creation Museum, but so rewarding knowing that it’s not just lights, the holidays, or commercialization, but it is Christmas—the time of year dedicated to remembering the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
