The Collingsworth Family

Last evening, the Collingsworth family returned to Legacy Hall for another sold out event. This family is one of the most beloved in the Southern Gospel music industry. They have produced 20 recordings and have had a dozen Top 40 hits. They are recipients of many awards, including a prestigious Dove Award. As the writer Kenna Turner West in Singing News states, “Their talent is undeniable, their joy is infectious, and their lives reflect the glory of the One whose name they live to declare.”

Also performing last night was Mark Lowry, the famous Christian comedian, songwriter, and singer, best known for co-writing the beautiful song “Mary, Did You Know?”

This was the second year that this event at the Creation Museum was sold out; in fact, they sold out so quickly and had to turn so many away, they may have to find a bigger venue than our 900+ seat Legacy Hall, or offer two concerts on the same day!
