Starting the School Year Right!

Many Christian schools wait a few months before allowing any field trips, and usually the big trips are in the spring; but we had a great visit this past week from Old Suwanee Christian School of Buford, GA.  Two buses rolled in on Tuesday morning, and immediately part of the group headed for the Screaming Raptor Zip Lines and the rest of the group headed for a planetarium show. Besides touring the museum, they had the opportunity at noon to hear Ken Ham, the president and CEO of Answers in Genesis. This group of 71 junior and senior high school students, with their sponsors, made the 10-hour drive on Monday and went bowling after checking into Comfort Suites at the airport. After they spent all day at the museum, they went to Lazer Kraze to complete what we are sure was an exhausting day! No doubt there was a lot of sleeping going on during the bus ride back on Wednesday!
