August is the month that parents and kids start thinking about going back to school. School supplies are purchased and thinking caps are about to be put back in place. At the Creation Museum, Answers in Genesis (AiG) seeks to provide continuing education for those interested in apologetics and children’s ministries—we even have a conference for pastors and Christian leaders.
The first conference coming up is Creation College 4 that will be held August 20–23. This conference will give practical training on how to develop a strong biblical worldview while giving in-depth information from leading creation scientists on how to refute pseudo-science claims in our culture. It will also expand one’s presentation skills for teaching the relevance of Genesis. Participants could earn up to three CEU credits.
The second opportunity is the Children’s Ministry Conference offered September 12–13. With this conference, AiG seeks to help these workers train children to become a generation that will stand firm in the faith. Through some practical teaching and great hands-on ideas, the end goal is to equip kids in foundational biblical apologetics that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
Then September 30–October 2, AiG will host its annual Answers for Pastors and Christian Leaders. Speakers for the week include Dr. Al Mohler, Brad Bigney, Dr. Voddie Baucham, and Dr. Dan Anderson—not to mention Ken Ham and many of AiG’s staff. Also, Mary Mohler and Dr. Georgia Purdom will have special sessions for the women.
