Make plans now to join award-winning photographers Martin and Deb Minnard for our 2013 Spring Photography Workshop.
The Minnards bring more than fifty years combined experience in general, portrait, commercial, and aerial photography to their teaching.
The spring photography workshop will focus on portraiture. Two different indoor lighting techniques will be featured as well as outdoor portraiture if the weather permits.
Indoors we’ll teach how to use window light, emulating soft northern light that you might get from a north facing window. We’ll also use a lighting set that was developed by a world class photographer using materials you may already have at home.
Outdoors we’ll work with natural light and a simple reflector. The goal is to teach portrait techniques with what is at hand instead of purchasing expensive equipment.
Students will need a digital camera with manual overrides and extra media cards. A laptop computer is not necessary but is welcome for downloading images.
