Christmas Town Deaf Night

by Creation Museum on December 1, 2011

Saturday, December 10

We’re excited about all the events surrounding our upcoming Christmas Town at the Creation Museum. One night in particular will be very special as we hold “Deaf Night” on Saturday, December 10.

For the past two years, the museum has hosted a “Deaf Day” on Labor Day (the first Monday in September). Both days received a tremendous amount of support from the Deaf community!

Beginning at 5 PM, the Stargazers Planetarium will feature closed captioning for the special “Christmas Star” presentation. (“The Created Cosmos” and “Christmas Starprograms can be captioned by request prior to 5 PM).

Sign language interpretation (ASL) will be available for the Christmas program during select shows. Deaf guests can pick up a Deaf Night schedule when they arrive to find out which shows are interpreted at what times.

The Creation Museum will also be open with $5 admission from 5–9 PM. Many of the regular museum programs are captioned year-round.
