April 1–2
Fathers, bring your sons to the Creation Museum for a fun and unique camping experience! You’ll have the opportunity to spend the night in a wooded area on the museum property. And don’t worry—we’ll be far removed from the crowds and busy parking lots! The wooded location is a “primitive” campsite that is not accessible by vehicle, so everything must be carried in. We’ll provide a fire and an outhouse. Be sure to bring your tent, sleeping gear, food, and any necessary cooking utensils. No camping equipment or food items will be provided by the Creation Museum.
You may check in beginning at 5 PM on Friday. There will be plenty of free time after check-in for setting up camp and fixing dinner. Buddy Davis will close out the evening at the campfire, where he'll share exciting stories from his great Alaskan dinosaur adventure.
On Saturday morning there will be a special educational workshop held exclusively for the campers (topic to be determined—please check back for details). Then, you’ll be able to tear down camp and be checked out by noon. Why not spend the rest of the afternoon at the museum? Check out our events calendar to see all that’s going on that day!
