Bringing Families Together

The Mally Family of Iowa stopped by the museum this past Tuesday to volunteer for the day, which is something that they have often done. They graciously adapted one of their ministry’s presentations called “Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends” for the museum guests to enjoy. This entertaining presentation was filled with Scripture, personal testimonies, music, and a chalk drawing all in an effort to encourage and strengthen the entire family. They talked about the struggles that families encounter with siblings and that although bickering and fighting may seem to be the norm it is not God’s will for the family. They based their presentation on Scripture and gave examples from their family on how they worked through irritations, pride, and offenses to have good and healthy relationships.

It was very refreshing to hear from this precious family that has given of themselves to help others. They truly were a blessing.
