The Creation Museum hosted its inaugural cross country run on April 24. Blessed with a gorgeous day, twenty runners from several states showed up to participate.
[caption id="attachment_2199" align="alignleft" width="150" caption="Up the Hill"][/caption] Four students tried the 5K run which proved to be quite a challenge since it has several steep inclines and crosses into several different terrains like pastures, woods, and ravines. Our first-place finisher from Iowa ran the course in 23 minutes and declared it to be the most demanding of all the ones he has run.
The balance of the runners opted for the 3K and probably early into the run were happy that they had done so! Get those running shoes out and keep an eye on our website for more information about our Cross Country course and watch for dates of our many races to come in the fall.
