The Stars are Coming Out Again

by Creation Museum on March 9, 2009

Come to the Creation Museum next month to enjoy an after-hours event exploring some of God’s most amazing stellar creations.

The next Stargazer's Night will be on April 16, 2009 and includes astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle giving a devotion and a planetarium showing of the Worlds of Creation. This time of year Saturn will be the highlight of the evening, with a rare view nearly "edge-on" - something that only happens roughly every 15 years! Several globular clusters may be visible, possibly even M13 - the best globular of the northern hemisphere and the galaxies M81 and M82 are great this time of year.

If the skies are cloudy Dr. Lisle will head inside for a unique teaching session utilizing the state of the art digital projector and domed ceiling of the Planetarium. Either way this will be a one-of-a-kind journey through the cosmos that you will thoroughly enjoy and not soon forget.

The cost for this event is $24.95 per person ($19.95 for members) and is limited to 78 people. To register, please call (800) 778-3390.
