Creation Museum Open for Guests

by Creation Museum on September 15, 2008

The Cincinnati area received the aftermath of Hurricane Ike on Sunday afternoon. Wind gusts averaged 55 miles per hour, with some areas reporting gusts up to 75 miles per hour. An overwhelming majority of area schools are closed on Monday, September 15, as thousands of homes are still without power. At one point, 90 percent of Duke Energy's (the local power company) customers were without power.

Here at the Creation Museum there was very little damage from the storm-the tent in front of the museum was blown over and several tree limbs were damaged.

The museum is open during regular business hours today (10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.).
