Museum Tour—Wonders Room

Today, we continue our tour of the Creation Museum by visiting the 6 Day Theater and Wonders Room.

Walking through the Time Tunnel you emerge on the other side entering the 6 Day Theater. Here you are welcomed by Guest Service staff that will introduce you to a visual journey through the Genesis 1 account of the Six Days of Creation.

As you leave the dark theater, the door opens to the incredible designs of this world that point to the Creator God. Most importantly, it shows that God made everything just as He said in His Word, in six days. The Wonders Room features 27 exhibits and 18 videos, depicting the wonders of God’s creation.

The room is organized into four sections: The Central Hub, The Physical World, The Living World and The Human World. The central video shows images of the incredible things that were created, with the words from Romans 1:20 that “These things are clearly seen, even God’s eternal power and godhead.” Over head are white, multi-layered, translucent sails that extend from one side of the room to the other and back-lit poster sized panels that line the walls with images from all aspects of God’s beautiful creation. Even though these show such elegance of design and beauty they are still marred by the effects of sin. Doesn’t it make you wonder just how beautiful God’s creation was before sin came into the picture and destroyed the perfection of how God intended it to be?
