Thanksgiving blessings

by Creation Museum on November 22, 2006

It is so hard to believe Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow – this year has really flown by, at least for us here at the Creation Museum. Each year many of us look back on all the blessings that have been bestowed upon us throughout the year and there are times when we wonder how all of these blessings happened in a year?

Every day we are blessed to be able to work in a Christian environment and to be able to work on this amazing project that the Lord has set before us. This year has been unbelievable with the amount of work that we have accomplished! From the work outside on the grounds, to the construction work being completed on the portico, to the construction work taking place throughout the museum space and the work being completed in the offices – things are definitely changing.

The most amazing change that has happened here over this past year is that several of our contractors who have been working side-by-side with our fabricators have been saved! What an amazing story to be able to tell – that in the midst of the work day building exhibits at the Creation Museum, they came to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Just think of the potential for those who see the finished product. God’s work never ends and He can meet us anywhere – what an amazing God!

Over this next year things will change even more, as by this time next year the museum will have been open for several months. Lord willing, the stories that can be told a year from now will just be wonderful. We are looking forward to that time and we hope you will be able to experience this place by that time as well.

May God bless you during this Thanksgiving season. Let us give Him thanks for all He has done and all that He is going to do.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
