Bridges, rock, and people

by Creation Museum on October 5, 2006

So far this week has been extremely busy here at the museum. On Monday, a very special group that was here several months ago, Men in Missions, was back to finish the remaining bridges.

In about 2 ½ days they finished the floating bridge and now they are working on the suspension bridge. These volunteers have really been a blessing to the ministry and we are so excited that they have given their time to help us finish these bridges.

On Tuesday some large deliveries showed up! The company that is doing the rock facade for the front of the building dropped off their next installment. It is exciting to see these things coming in and being added to finish the museum project.

Yesterday, as many staff walked by the “Nehemiah Room”, which is a lecture room located next to the offices, they were looking twice because there were several non-staff people just standing around in the room. Well these were not just any people—they were figures that will be going into the exhibits throughout the museum. They look extremely life-like. King David was there along with Martin Luther, a Rabbi, Adam and Eve, a paleontologist, and the Apostle Paul to name a few! We even have two replicas of staff members' children. A specialty company is producing these figures and they are doing an amazing job with them.

The artists and fabricators continue to do their work throughout the museum and the landscaping crew is doing a great job planting the fall annuals to make the property look beautiful. The leaves are beginning to change as well and are adding additional beauty to the landscape.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
