Operations update

Throughout the museum the sound of hammers, drills and saws continue as we head into our final months of construction and preparation toward our “Grand Opening” in the spring of 2007.

Our final “Behind the Scenes” open house was a tremendous success with over 2,700 people showing up to tour, have lunch and even get their picture taken with Ken. It was quite a challenge with a group that size, but the Lord sure blessed the day’s activities and all went smoothly. We were even able to rescue a group whose bus had broken down, and help them arrive in time to enjoy all the festivities.

The Third Annual “Motorcycle Rally” will be held on Saturday, September 23. Riders come from all over the country meet at the museum for this fundraising event. Rod, director of Internet Outreach, will speak to the participants upon their arrival to the museum. We are really looking forward to this event and we will provide you with an update next week.

We want to extend our appreciation to all our volunteers. Praise the Lord for the donations and we especially thank everyone for the abundant prayer support worldwide. We are so blessed and privileged to be part of this project and we ask for your continued prayers. See you all next spring!!!
