Things look different

by Creation Museum on August 17, 2006

It is amazing to see that in just one week so much work has been completed at the Creation Museum! As soon as you drive onto the property you see some of the changes that have been taking place, both to the landscaping and the building. Last week Tim shared how the grounds are changing, and today we want to share with you the many changes taking place throughout the building.

The portico continues to change daily, as the steel goes up and the soffit comes down in preparation for the new HVAC installation.

Additionally, the extension of the café has been enclosed, and work continues on the inside of the café, as well.

In the bookstore, touchup work is being completed on the fireplace, and we are still in awe of the beautiful workmanship of the fabricators.

As you explore the lobby, you will discover a couple of turtles that have been added to the water feature, as the live exhibits truly start to come alive.

Work on the Wonders Room—which leads to the Creation Walk—has begun, and the work on the Creation Walk continues.

The scenic painters have moved from the bookstore into the Palm Plaza. They are currently painting the panels that will go up on the walls, and the area is really beginning to look like the concept sketches we have been seeing.

We are so blessed to have so many skilled individuals on our team! With all of you, we are waiting in excited anticipation to see this project completed.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
