Working away!

by Creation Museum on June 23, 2006

This past week has been quite busy around the museum (no different from any other week!). As has been updated on Ken’s blog, the planetarium carpet and seats are in and the room is really looking sharp. The fabrication team is now working on the panels that will be placed on the walls to help with sound. The projector will be installed next week.

In the bookstore the floors are being sanded and stained for the last time and an amazing chandelier has been built that will hang in the middle of the room.

Work continues on the Creation Walk and the area changes each day.

Outside, the volunteer group continues to work on the bridges, and they have been doing a great job. Next week we will be able to show you the finished products of their labor.

On the café patio, work continues to prepare to enclose this area. It will be wonderful to have this additional closed-in area for our guests.

The landscaping team continues to work on the bog and the entire property.

Stay tuned, as you know there is never a dull moment here!

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
