Blessed by volunteers

by Creation Museum on March 29, 2006

It is amazing to see how God has blessed this ministry with so many volunteers and we marvel to see how He moves in their hearts. These volunteers step forward to lend a helping hand in so many different ways and for that we are very thankful. Quite often we have couples volunteer for a few days or even a couple of weeks. These husband-and-wife teams end up working in various departments throughout the ministry. We have larger groups come in as well.

The first week of March we had a family and some of their friends, a total of 15 people, come for one day. They worked in various departments and it was amazing how much work they accomplished in only one day.

The following week we had a group of 18, including students and instructors, from Purdue University for four days. Again, the amount of work that was done in the museum and AiG offices had a great impact.

Last week, Tri-State Christian School (a group of 18 students from 4 different states---Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota), led by Tim, joined us for 4 days. They came with a mission to serve, and the warehouse, print shop and various other departments all benefited from their labors.

Additionally, Phil, who is a contractor, and his daughter, Phylicia, arrived last week and plan on working until the end of the month!

Many people contact us and want to volunteer their time to help build the museum and you can, too. It is truly a blessing to have them here, to meet new friends and work alongside them as we all have the same purpose in mind and share a common goal. It is our prayer that the museum will see many people come to know our Lord and Savior and that many will be strengthened in their Christian walk when they see that they truly can believe the Bible starting from the very first verse.

There is always plenty of work to be done here, so if you have ever considered or are just thinking about volunteering, contact our volunteer coordinator to get more information about our volunteer program.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
