Building blocks

Last week, work began on building a maintenance road for large trucks to bring in heavier loads from the front entrance to the barn at the rear of the property. Tons and tons of gravel were brought in to build the road.

The artists continued to work on the giraffe. Travis and Jesse have been working on the body of the giraffe and Carolyn and Stephanie have been working on the head of the giraffe. They put the body and head together last week and now the guys are finishing the texturing of the giraffe.

The fabricators continued to work in the bookstore and on the front bays of the Special Effects Theater.

As Ken mentioned last week on his blog, we had a special group from Hong Kong that met with Mike Zovath, Patrick and many others on the museum team as their group prepares to build a replica of Noah's Ark. It was exciting to have them with us for several days.
