Memberships reach 6,000

by Creation Museum on February 10, 2006

Hi, everyone. Todd here with the latest news from the membership front:

I am pleased to announce that we have now reached 6,000 Charter Members of the Creation Museum. It is incredible to think about how many people from all over the United States and the world have stepped up and said they want to be a part of seeing the Creation Museum come to life.

Our next membership information mailer is going out soon. Developing those mailers is a constant process here, and it won’t be too much longer before we mail out our last Charter Membership offer—because we’ll be open (Spring 2007 sure seems to be getting here quickly)! If you’re already a member, feel free to pass the information to a friend or loved one who might be interested. Or you might want to take advantage of our upgrade option, to make your membership even more beneficial.

We’re seeing many of our Charter Members taking advantage of the last few Open House events we’ll be able to host prior to opening. Membership Manager Sam reported just this week that we’re already close to 200 people signed up for the one in April. That’s very exciting! We had somewhere around 750 or so at the last one we did in 2005, and it gave us a good feel for what kind of capacity we may have once we’re open. April will give us another chance to test those waters.

We’ve been working very diligently on our Church Charter Membership program. Grace Bible Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, OH has been the first one to officially join, and hopefully we’ll see several more soon as many churches are talking to us about that. If your church is close enough to the museum to consider visiting as one entire group, then the Church Charter Membership may be very worthwhile for your congregation too. Feel free to contact me (800-350-3232 ext. 212) if you’d like me to come talk to someone at your church about it.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
