Life of a VTG—Jo

by Creation Museum on December 12, 2005

Jo, one of our Volunteer Tour Guides (VTGs), shares how she is involved at the Creation Museum.

As a volunteer at AiG, I am totally blessed. Over the last several years my life has changed drastically and AiG has helped me cope and has changed my life. As I walk through the offices I can feel God’s presence. I consider it an honor to be in the presence of so many talented people.

Like all of the VTGs, I have seen the faces of young and old during tours and heard responses like, “I’m coming back and can’t wait until its completion.” This is the same way I felt the first time I toured the museum. It is so exciting to see the changes that are taking place weekly, if not daily.

AiG gives us a picture of what God can do in our lives, if we are open to His work.

We thank all of our VTGs for their hard work to ensure visitors feel welcome at the museum. Due to construction in multiple areas, daily museum tours are being postponed until further notice, so instead of giving tours our VTGs have graciously agreed to help with other volunteer opportunities throughout the ministry. Jo indicated that she has been totally blessed by volunteering at AiG. We hope she and the other VTGs know that we, the staff, are totally blessed by their willingness to give their time to help further the work of the ministry.

Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
