I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! This last week there were several projects taking place, mainly inside due to the after effects of Hurricane Katrina. The grounds staff worked hard on Monday placing straw and silk fence on the waterfalls to ensure the work completed the previous week on the waterfalls did not wash into the lake from the hard rains. By the end of the week the weather was much nicer outside and trenching continued on the irrigation system. This week the grounds staff are adding more boulders to the main waterfall.
Nathan and Ethan, fabricators, have been working on the booths for Noah's Place Café. In the next several weeks the booths will be stained and cushioned seats will be installed.
Steve and Mark, fabricators, are adding a live sound booth in the back of the Special Effects Theatre to enable all of the sound system equipment to be installed in the sound booth. Towards the end of the month additional wires and equipment will be installed throughout the theatre to move us towards having additional sound and special effects in the theatre.
Last week we had 5 volunteers helping throughout the ministry and 121 visitors tour the museum. Below are some comments we received from those who toured the museum:

I am excited to be able to share all that has been taking place at the Museum and look forward to sharing even more as we continue on this exciting project.
Thanks again for joining us. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for the museum.
