Membership with a Mission

What is Membership with a Mission?

This little caterpillar is working hard to build his cocoon. When he is finished, he will emerge as a beautiful butterfly. Help us build a home for him by supporting the Membership with a Mission program.

You can help this caterpillar finish his cocoon and complete the insect exhibit.

  1. Upgrade your membership.
  2. Encourage your friends and family to purchase a membership.

The Creation Museum exists to point today’s culture back to the authority of Scripture and proclaim the gospel message. The Membership with a Mission program allows Creation Museum members the opportunity to see first-hand how their support is helping to meet these goals. Unlike general admission revenue—which is used entirely to support the day-to-day operation of the museum—a portion of membership revenue goes directly toward the development of new exhibits and other museum features.

Our first project: A world-class exhibit of some of God’s craziest creatures—insects!

Enter a world of staggering beauty, stunning acrobatic feats, ceaseless variety, and spectacular weirdness. Bugs have a bad rap—in fact, some people wish insects could be wiped off the face of the earth entirely. But what would a world without bugs be like? Discover the wisdom of God’s design in this exciting new exhibit.

The Crawley Collection of beetles, walking sticks, leaf insects, ants, and much more is already in museum storage—hundreds of insects, beautifully mounted and ready for display. Membership with a Mission funds will go toward the design, lighting, artwork, effects, cases and other expenses needed to build the exhibit.

Dr. Crawley’s Insectorium is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend, 2013. Museum members can see it before it opens at our preview event on May 24! Visit the event page to learn more and sign up.
