Join herpeculturist Rick Teepen for the ever-popular presentation, Snakes Alive, as he shares reptiles from God’s perspective. Have you ever seen a snake in your own backyard? Did you run away in fear or lean in for a closer look? No matter how you feel about snakes, this workshop will help you appreciate these often-feared animals of God’s creation.

Snakes Alive is an interactive workshop where you’ll get to see and touch many interesting reptiles. These amazing creatures display traits that could only be formed by an intelligent, creative designer—God. Using two dozen reptiles including snakes, lizards, and turtles, Rick explains why specific animals have certain characteristics and how they fit into God's plan for the world.

Bring a camera to record some close encounters! You’ll even have an opportunity to pose with a live snake.

If you’ve never seen a Snakes Alive presentation before, then you’re in for a treat. If you have attended before, consider returning to see what new creatures you'll encounter and how familiar ones have changed. Tickets are $3.50 with museum admission; Members and Passholders receive a 10% discount off on-site purchases. Purchase your tickets in advance by calling Reservations at 888-582-4253 ext 355 or buy online.
