Join herpetologist Rick Teepen for the ever-popular presentation, Snakes Alive, as he shares reptiles from God’s perspective. Have you ever seen a snake in your own backyard? Did you run away in fear or lean in for a closer look? No matter how you feel about snakes, this workshop will help you appreciate these often-feared animals of God’s creation.
Snakes Alive is an interactive workshop where you’ll get to see and touch many interesting reptiles. These amazing creatures display traits that could only be formed by an intelligent, creative designer—God. Using two dozen reptiles including snakes, lizards, turtles, and even an alligator, Rick explains why specific animals have certain characteristics and how they fit into God's plan for the world.
Bring a camera to record some close encounters! You’ll even have an opportunity to pose with a live snake.
If you’ve never seen a Snakes Alive presentation before, then you’re in for a treat. If you have attended before, consider returning to see what new creatures you'll encounter and how familiar ones have changed.
This program is offered at the Creation Museum on many Saturdays throughout the year. View our events calendar to see specific times and current prices. This program is a Science Series Workshop sponsored by Bob Jones University.
