It’s time to start making your plans to visit our 13th annual ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum! This year’s event will run Wednesday through Sunday evenings from November 27 through December 20, and every evening from December 21–30 (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), beginning at 5 p.m. each night.
Here’s a glimpse of what you will experience when you join us to celebrate this special time of the year.
If your family likes to visit skating rinks during the Christmas season, you won’t want to miss our newest addition to ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum. Take a spin on the Glice® rink, which has a type of synthetic ice that acts just like real ice. It allows you to skate regardless of the temperature. That means you can enjoy skating even if we have a warm night in Northern Kentucky during this event.
Your ChristmasTown adventure will begin in the Garden of Lights in our beautiful botanical gardens! Stroll through the gardens amid the breathtaking display of thousands of multi-colored lights. Each year, we add new designs and more color throughout the garden trails, so your experience is never the same!
Step back in time as you view a realistic recreation of the events surrounding the night of our Savior’s birth at our live nativity. Reflect on the true meaning of Christmas as you watch Mary and Joseph with baby Jesus.
The Eden Animal Experience is a fun place for children and adults to enjoy close encounters with our unique animals, including a wallaby, goats, alpacas, and more. And during ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum, you’ll be able to enjoy the zoo under the lights!
Shop for one-of-a-kind, artisanal gifts in our large fair trade market, and find apparel, stuffed animals, books, DVDs, and much more inside our Dragon Hall Bookstore!
Warm up with a cup of cocoa, enjoy donuts, kettle corn, and other tasty treats, or get a spectacular view of the lights from the heated deck at Noah’s Café while enjoying our classic turkey or ham dinner!
Are you looking to escape winter’s chill? Head into the Creation Museum to experience our stunning exhibits, including our brand-new Fearfully and Wonderfully Made exhibit, and enjoy a delicious turkey or ham dinner in Noah’s Café with exclusive holiday pricing after 5 p.m. Visit our event page to learn more about this special offer.
Continue celebrating this special time of the year with a trip to our sister attraction for ChristmasTime at the Ark! See the life-size Ark lit up in rainbow-colored lights, catch an animated show that shares a Christmas message of hope and sing along to classic Christmas carols with our resident artists Steve Hess & Southern Salvation in the Answers Center, enjoy seasonal foods and festive treats, shop for unique gifts, meet adorable zoo animals, and more!
Save the date, and start making your plans today to bring the whole family out for an unforgettable holiday evening! Be sure to share your favorite ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum photos with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using #creationmuseum.
