Over the next few months at the Creation Museum, we have several exciting events lined up that you won’t want to miss. With community outreaches, a conference for pastors and Christian leaders, a special event for future college students, and even a 5K race, this fall is filled with unique opportunities for our guests. Here are five upcoming events to consider when planning your trip to the museum.
On September 30, we will host our fourth annual Día Latino at the Creation Museum. This provides a special opportunity for our Spanish-speaking guests to experience what the museum has to offer in their language. Guests will be able to tour the museum’s exhibits with a Spanish translator and even enjoy feature presentations in Spanish.
Make plans to stick around for an extra day to experience the first Día Latino event at our sister attraction, the Ark Encounter. On October 1, guests can come to this newly opened themed attraction for more solid biblical content and the gospel message translated into Spanish.
Join us October 11–13 for our Practical Answers for Pastors and Christian Leaders conference to get equipped with practical answers to the skeptical questions of this age and be encouraged by solid teaching. You will hear from highly respected pastors and AiG’s dynamic speakers on topics ranging from “How Christians Should Respond to the Gender Confusion of Our Day” to “How Evolution Undermines the Gospel, Marriage, and Sanctity of Life.”
Mark October 15 on your calendar for Deaf Day when the museum’s shows, presentations, and special programs will be ASL interpreted. Captions will be available all day in the Stargazer’s Planetarium shows along with the Men in White special-effects show. Volunteers will be available to help you with purchasing tickets, ordering food, and asking questions you may have about the museum. For more information, watch the video below!
Whether you are an avid runner or a casual walker, make plans to join us October 15 for the eighth annual Raptor Run 5K. With seven age categories, this event is sure to be fun for the whole family! Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers along with first and second place in each age/gender category.
As your family begins to think about this year’s high school graduation, you may find yourself wondering what’s next. Visit the Creation Museum on November 4 or 5 for the College Expo, which will give your family the opportunity to visit one-on-one with many of the nation’s leading Christian colleges and universities. Each institution in attendance holds a biblical, young-earth view.
Special sessions by Drs. Georgia Purdom, Tommy Mitchell, and Danny Faulkner will focus on building a strong biblical worldview as your student prepares for the next step. Each day is identical, so you won’t have to worry about attending both days.
As you start making your plans to visit the Creation Museum, keep these five events in mind.
