This summer is a hoppin’ time to visit the Creation Museum! With so much going on, you won’t want to miss out. First, our sister attraction the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, is opening on July 7. To celebrate, we’re doing a promotion called 40 Days and 40 Nights (get it?) and that means both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum will have some extended hours. Yay, more time to play!
From July 7 through August 15, visit the Ark Encounter during the day (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) or night (5 p.m. – midnight). And while you’re in town, visit the museum from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Good thing there won’t be any school nights all summer long because you’ll want to be out late enjoying the beautiful weather, cool attractions, fun biblical teaching, and so much more with your family.
If you’re a budding geologist, to be sure to check out our mining sluice and pan for gemstones (weather and staff permitting). The zip lines are in full operation all summer long and the botanical gardens are in full bloom. And as with the rest of the year, you can be sure to get solid biblical teaching throughout the entire museum and at each of our activities, presentations, and events. Helpful tip—if you’re keen on snakes, come on a Saturday so you can see some live reptiles that showcase God’s creative design for animals.
The best thing to do, of course, is check out our museum calendar before your trip so you can make sure to hit each activity on your list. We can’t wait to see you!
