First-time Guest

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! There’s so much to do at the Creation Museum we wanted to help you plan your visit.

Where to Start?

The first thing you might want to do is to get oriented with a map and directions. The museum is within a day’s drive of about two-thirds of the U.S. population. Make sure that you also review our Upcoming Events and Activities to decide the best time to come. We have a full slate of events every week.

Once you know how to get here, you may want to consider some of the other exciting attractions and quality lodging that the tri-state area offers (Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana). You could plan a week-long vacation centered around at least one day at the museum.

Next, scan through the exhibits, theater presentations, and food venues here at the Creation Museum. This will give you an idea of what you can expect.

Then you’re all set. Prepare to be amazed. Prepare to be challenged. Prepare to believe.

Hints for Families

  • You could easily spend an entire day exploring the museum and the grounds. However, we recommend a two-day pass to take in the special events.
  • The planetarium often sells out. Reserve your seats as soon as you arrive for the day.
  • The Petting Zoo is included in the price of admission. There you can feed a zonkey (zebra/donkey), a zorse (zebra/horse), a camel, wallabies, and other intriguing animals.
  • There are bathrooms with diaper changing stations conveniently located throughout the museum.
  • Due to limited space, only single and inline double strollers are allowed inside the museum. If you have a side-by-side stroller, we have inline strollers for rent on a first-come, first-served basis (a $5 refundable deposit is required).
  • Wheelchairs are available for a $10 refundable deposit on a limited basis.
  • The museum is a smoke-free facility.
  • Pets (other than service animals) are not permitted in the museum.
