Join us on a trip to Caesar Creek Lake in Warren County, Ohio, for a day of hunting fossils. Answers in Genesis geologist Dr. Andrew Snelling will lead this one-day excursion to one of the most popular fossil-hunting locations in the region.
This exciting, hands-on experience comes with many highlights, including special geology presentations and personal instruction from Dr. Snelling. Enjoy fellowship with other museum members in a beautiful state park that offers a variety of additional recreational activities.
Please note that Caesar Creek Lake is located one hour and 15 minutes away from the museum (view map). Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Check-in is at 8:30 AM, and the program will start promptly at 8:45 AM.

10:00 AM Hands-on fossil hunting with guidance from Dr. Snelling
12:30 PM Boxed lunches served at the adjacent Flat Fork Recreation Area

2:00 PM Group is officially dismissed. The afternoon has been left free so that participants may choose to continue hunting for fossils or take advantage of the many other recreational activities the park and surrounding area have to offer.

The cost for this trip is only $35 per person. Lunch is included, as well as a special souvenir fossil collecting bag. It’s an amazing value that is only available to Creation Museum members. The program is designed for ages 12 and up. For the enjoyment of all guests, children under 12 should be left with another caregiver.
Registration is required and will open four weeks prior to each event. Both dates will fill up very quickly, so register early.
