Dr. Terry Mortenson "Creation vs. Evolution: Why It Matters"

    with Terry Mortenson

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

Many people today think that Genesis is an ancient book that isn’t important and many think the early chapters of Genesis about the origin and age of the earth are not trustworthy. Many people think that it doesn’t matter what we think about evolution and millions of years. Dr. Mortenson presents some of the Biblical, moral and scientific reasons for believing that Genesis is vitally relevant to what is taught and happening in our world. What is ultimately at stake is our view of morality, the meaning of life, the truth of the Gospel and the trustworthiness and authority of the Bible.

This event is free with paid museum admission or Museum membership. Seating is first come first served.

  • Three Ways to Make an Apeman

    Discover the Truth - May 4th at 1:30pm – 2:30pm

Three Ways to Make an Apeman

    with David Menton

    $3.50

In the workshop, Three Ways to Make an Apeman, Dr. David Menton will teach you how the facts have to be twisted in order to take fossil remains and declare them to be an apeman. Learn to distinguish an ape from a human and never be made a monkey of again!

Did you know that there are only three ways to make an apeman? Far from being ancestors of human-kind, ape-men must be constructed by taking a human skull and declaring it to be ape-like, taking an ape skull and declaring it to be human-like, or mixing fossil ape and human specimens together (as was done with Piltdown man). Dr. Menton will teach you how to recognize the truth about the so-called ape man remains.

Tickets are $3.50 with museum admission; Members and Passholders receive a 10% discount off on-site purchases. This workshop is sponsored by Bob Jones University.

    Feature Presentations - May 4th at 3:00pm – 4:00pm

Dr. Terry Mortenson "Origin of Species: Was Darwin Right?"

    with Terry Mortenson

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

Dr. Mortenson presents some of the overwhelming scientific evidence from biology and paleontology that Darwin’s theory is false. He shows that evolutionists have used misleading arguments to convince us that the fossils, natural selection and mutations prove evolution. In fact, the evidence fits very well with the Biblical account of God supernaturally creating distinct “kinds” of plants and animals (with genetic information for variation within each kind but not the ability to change into different kinds). The relevance of this issue to our everyday life is explained at the conclusion.

    with Bryan Osborne

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

Dragons and Dinosaurs! Few things ignite our imagination the way these mysterious creatures do! But what is the truth behind the legends? Were dragons real? When did dinosaurs actually roam the earth? Are they mentioned in the Bible? II Corinthians 10:5 tells us to, “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”. Come and see how when we build our thinking on the foundation of God’s Word we have answers to these questions and more!

  • Evolution, Not a Chance

    Discover the Truth - May 5th at 1:30pm – 2:30pm

    Evolution, Not a Chance

    with David Menton

    $3.50

Evolution? Not a chance! Using magical illusions to demonstrate mathematical probabilities, Dr. David Menton illustrates the improbability of evolution. There is statistically no way that the complex molecules of living systems arose by accidental, random processes. Join us for Evolution, Not a Chance!

Evolution is bad science, but makes good magic! Using “magical illusions” Dr. Menton will illustrate the improbability of evolution. Biological systems leave little to chance but rather genetic information is precisely encoded in the DNA. You will see how to calculate the probability of the chance arrangement of amino acids into biologically useful proteins as required by evolution. What are the odds that evolution happened? Not a chance!

Tickets are $3.50 with museum admission; Members and Passholders receive a 10% discount. This workshop is sponsored by Bob Jones University.

Bryan Osborne "The Relevance of Genesis in Today's World"

    with Bryan Osborne

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

1 Peter 3:15 tells us to equip ourselves with answers in order to give an account for the hope that we have. Bryan’s passion for this subject is born out of the understanding that the key to Biblical authority is found in Genesis 1-11. If the historicity of the Bible cannot be trusted then how can one trust its message of salvation?
