    Joe Owen "Rediscovering Dinosaurs"

    with Joe Owen

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

There are few topics that create more interest in children and controversy among adults than dinosaurs. These "prehistoric" reptiles are used by the secular schools and media to promote the idea of millions of years and evolution, and, sadly, in the church there is much confusion about these dinos: When were the dinosaurs created? Didn't they live millions of years before mankind? Why don't I find dinosaurs in the Bible? Were there dinosaurs in the Ark? In this talk, we will tackle this subject and look to the Bible itself for the answers. You just may be challenged, you may be surprised, and you will definitely be equipped with answers.

This event is free with paid museum admission or Museum membership. Seating is first come first served.

At Christmas we are celebrating God the Father’s gift to us of Jesus. Jesus offers us forgiveness instead of death! What a glorious thing to celebrate. God’s gift of Jesus rings true in his name “Immanuel – God is with us!” This is our source of True Happiness! Matthew 1:21, 23 “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins... Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

  • Formed to Fly

    Discover the Truth - Dec 18th at 2:30pm – 3:30pm

    Formed to Fly

    with David Menton

    $3.50

Evolutionists commonly claim that birds evolved from dinosaurs based on the similarity between feathers and reptile scales. In this workshop Dr. Menton will show you that nothing could be further from the truth. After handling feathers and snake skins and observing them microscopically, you’ll be convinced that there is no way that reptile scales could have evolved into feathers. Join us and discover for yourself that birds were Formed to Fly!

Evolutionists have long argued that birds evolved by chance from reptiles. However, in this interactive workshop, you will see that no two classes of vertebrates differ more dramatically than do reptiles and birds. Unlike the dinosaurs, from which birds are said to have evolved, birds are truly “formed to fly.” Dr. Menton examines the feathers of birds and compares them to reptile scales (and so will you as he passes samples around the room). Contrary to the claims of evolutionists, feathers are profoundly different from scales in every respect.

Tickets are $3.50 with museum admission; Members and Passholders receive a 10% discount off on-site purchases. This workshop is sponsored by Bob Jones University.

    Feature Presentations - Dec 19th at 12:00pm – 1:00pm

Bryan Osborne "Do Animals Evolve? Evolution Defined"

    with Bryan Osborne

These powerful presentations from Answers in Genesis’s dynamic speakers examine a variety of topics including the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.

Is evolution a fact? In his book, The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution, Richard Dawkins seems to summarize well what much of the scientific community, our culture and the world believe in regards to this question. In it he says this, “Evolution is a fact. Beyond reasonable doubt, beyond serious doubt, beyond sane, informed, intelligent doubt, beyond doubt evolution is a fact…” Is this true? As Christians how do we respond? To answer these questions we must stand on the authority of God’s Word and carefully define the word evolution. When we do this, the deceptive “bait and switch” that is taking place is clearly unveiled.

This event is free with paid museum admission or Museum membership. Seating is first come first served.

    Christmas Town Camel Ride

    $5.00

Riding a camel is quite different from riding a horse, the most obvious difference being the hump. Because weight distribution is important, light-weight riders can ride in front of the hump while others ride behind it. But the hump is not the only difference. A camel’s height and special gait makes camel-riding a whole new experience.

Tickets are $5 per rider and can be purchased at the petting zoo. Rides are weather permitting, so please check conditions once you arrive at the museum.

Enjoy the experience of a camel ride at the Creation Museum’s Petting Zoo! Our friendly dromedary camels are often available to give you a ride.
