  • Camel Rides

    None - Aug 28th at 1:00pm – 4:45pm

    Camel Rides

    $5.00

Riding a camel is quite different from riding a horse, the most obvious difference being the hump. Because weight distribution is important, light-weight riders can ride in front of the hump while others ride behind it. But the hump is not the only difference. A camel’s height and special gait makes camel-riding a whole new experience.

Tickets are $5 per rider and can be purchased at the petting zoo. Rides are weather permitting, so please check conditions once you arrive at the museum.

Enjoy the experience of a camel ride at the Creation Museum’s Petting Zoo! Our friendly dromedary camels are often available to give you a ride.

    Meet Ken Ham

When Ken Ham gets the chance, he likes to interact with Creation Museum guests, and Meet Ken Ham sessions are a great way to do this. Spend a few minutes chatting with Ken, sharing your story, and asking any questions you may have.

Come to the Creation Museum for an opportunity to meet Ken Ham. The president/CEO and founder of Answers in Genesis-U.S. and the highly acclaimed Creation Museum, Ken Ham is the author of numerous books on the book of Genesis, the accuracy and authority of the Bible, dinosaurs, and the destructive fruits of evolutionary thinking.

Ken Ham will be available outside Legacy Hall after his noon presentation. This is your chance to ask a question, pose together for a photograph with your family, or even request his signature on a book.

Please note that Ken's schedule is subject to change and sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled. Check with Guest Services staff when you arrive at the museum for the most up-to-date schedule.

  • Dino-Mite Readers: I AM

    None - Aug 28th at 2:00pm – 2:30pm

    I AM

Children ages 3–8 are invited to join us for Dino-Mite Readers at the Creation Museum. This free program is an interactive and engaging reading time featuring Christian and Creation children's books from the Museum's own Dragon Hall bookstore.

Our salvation comes through Christ, the Creator God who stepped into history to become a man who would do what the first Adam did not do—live a perfect life in obedience to the Father (1 Corinthians 15:45–49). He was the Redeemer who had been promised 4,000 years earlier and who came to save the world from sin by dying on the Cross and rising three days later—paying the death penalty for those who receive His free gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23). Those who have repented and placed their faith in the finished work of Christ look forward to the consummation of all things in the future, when the Curse will be removed and God will provide the new heavens and the new earth for His children. Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the old things have passed away."
