Monkey Business

by Creation Museum on August 19, 2010

In a few days the fifth regular program in our popular Answers for Kids workshop series will be debuting at the Creation Museum: Monkey Business.  Monkeys are fun for kids of all ages, but they become serious business when some scientists claim human beings came from apes!
This workshop will be presented by Ruth Carter.  Ruth and her husband Steve coordinate the volunteer program for Answers in Genesis.  The daughter of missionaries, Ruth was raised in Africa (where she saw many monkeys) and has many years experience as a children’s teacher and curriculum writer.  She also presents the energetic junior edition of the Answers for Kids: Fun with Fossils workshop.
In this entertaining and interactive workshop kids will learn that Lucy and other so-called ape men are not in the human family tree.  Instead they will understand people were created specially in God's image.  Workshop participants will also make a cool “God Made Me” zipper pull to take home.
On August 23 and 25 you can experience this amazing new program at 1:30.  Tickets are $3.00 with museum admission; Members and Passholders receive a 10% discount.
